Universal Credit: reporting a change of rent 2022

When we let you know about your rent changes, please do not report this until the actual date of that change. If it's done earlier it can cause problems.

On your Universal Credit Journal

• please do not use the 'Change of circumstances' to-do, to report an annual rent change
• Please complete the 'Confirm your housing costs' to-do, on the 'date of change' of rent, not before.
