Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration at Rose Bush Court and Ashton Court

Back in April, we launched our Community Fund for The Big Jubilee Lunch celebrating Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June - and thanks to the funding, two of our schemes have celebrated the jubilee in style!

Ashton Court celebrated the jubilee on 31 May, and Rose Bush Court had their High Tea Party on 1 June. 

Rose Bush Court extended their invites to family and friends and our sister scheme Mary Webster House, with one resident from that scheme attending the celebration. 

The weather wasn’t great on the day, and residents were not able to sit out in the garden, but that did not stop anyone from having a great time, even writing messages for the Queen! Rose Bush Court held a sit-down meal for 22 and provided meals for 10 plus residents who stayed in their homes. All this was achieved with the help of 3 volunteers on the day (tenants' family & carers).
