PfP and Origin colleagues meet residents in Kings Cross

On a beautifully sunny day in February Origin took colleagues from Places for People (PfP) Board and Executive team on a short fact-finding tour. The group visited residents in one of our three new buildings in the heart of the Kings Cross regeneration area, which together provide over 120 high quality homes for Social Rent, as well Origin’s supported housing scheme for young people in Somers Town which is run by our valued partner New Horizons.. They spent time chatting with residents, hearing their stories and getting valuable feedback on their living experiences.

One resident summed up the experience by saying, “I am truly grateful and humbled by this flat.” The visit was equally impactful for our PfP colleagues, with one describing the experience as “unforgettable.”

The visit was a great opportunity to strengthen our partnership with PfP and continue working together to create homes people are proud to live in.
