Origin Board steps down

31 March 2025
In April last year when we became a subsidiary of Places for People, we agreed that our current Board would step down after a year. This means that all current Origin Board members will resign with effect from 31 March 2025.
Instead, Origin will be governed by the Places for People Group Board. To ensure we have a cohesive governance process in place while we remain a legal entity (prior to full integration) an Origin Operational Management Committee is being set up to provide assurance, guidance and support for Origin and accountability to the Group Board.
The Operational Management Committee will consist of Vicky Bonner (Origin’s previous Board Chair), Carol Carter (Origin CEO), Steve Ashton, PfP Group Chief Partnerships Officer, Will Loughnane, PfP Group Chief Commercial Officer (and previous Origin Board member), Matthew Rimell, PfP Group Commercial Finance Director and Judy Hardy, PfP Group Chief Risk Officer.
The Operational Management Committee will meet every two months to review performance, risk, finance and integration progress, and report up into the main PfP Board.
The Origin Board – Chaired by Vicky Bonner, who is also a Non-Executive Director on the PfP Group Board – wanted to share the following words: “It’s been an honour to Chair the Origin Board and help to kick start a partnership that will help both Origin and PfP, together, to be an even stronger force for good in our Communities. I look forward to being part of the team that will steer the ship in my continued role on the PfP Group Board.”
We'd like to thank all of our Board members for the impact they have had, and their dedication to Origin and our residents.
