Gas Safety Week 2021

We’ve pledged our support for Gas Safety Week 2021 which is all about promoting gas safety in communities across the nation.
 
Keeping residents safe is our key priority. We conduct gas safety checks yearly to make sure that your heating and water systems are safe and working properly.
 
Gas safety checks are free of charge and involve a service of your boiler where we check its condition. We also check your gas meter and other gas appliances are safe. When we contact you about your annual gas safety check, please make sure you get back to us to confirm or reschedule your appointment. It’s also really important that you let our contractors into your home on the day so they can complete the check and keep you safe.
 
If you smell gas in your home at any time, please call the National Grid free on 0800 111 999 and switch off appliances until the gas emergency supplier, or a registered gas engineer, has attended and advised that the appliances are safe to use.
